Star Armor: MOMO's Secret Transformations
MOMO's Secret Armors make MOMO one of the best characters to have along in your party. The following is a short overview of each Armor, it's effects, and how to get it.
Starwind is the first armor you have the oppertunity to get.Before you can get it, however, you must have MOMO as your onscreen-character. First, go to Cathedral Ship (Where you can find it). It's very difficult to describe exact places in Xenosaga but please try to follow nonetheless. If you reach a part of Cathedral Ship where you have a fallen bridge and a mini-boss behind it, your'e in the right place. To the left of it there should be a staircase that a Cerberus is guarding. Engage in battle with it or evade around it when it's farthest away. After climbing up the staircase, you should see two crates/boxes. If you have MOMO as you onscreen-character, you will see something shining in a slot of one of the boxes. Approach it and examine it with X. MOMO wil say some stuff about it looking suspicious but takes it just in case. Now you automatically have the Ether Starwind and the Tech Attack Magic Caster. Then go to the ether evolution screen and use 100 Epts twice to get Star Veil and Star Action. In order to use Star Action, Star Veil, or Magic Caster, you must be transformed by means of the Ether Starwind. Starwind only lasts for two turns so make sure to make the most of it!
Starlight, in my opinion, is the better of the two transformations. You can rack up major damage using this transformation. In order to get it, first approach the Song of Nephillim with MOMO as the Onscreen-character. Go to the 2nd Tower approaching from the path from the 1st Tower. you should find yourself in a room with a circular path and a save point. Head towards the far right path and go through the opening. Coming out, you'll find yourself on a path to a platform that seems pointless if you didn't have MOMO as the Onscreen-character. When you do have her on though, you should see something shining on the wall. Examine it with X and you'll automatically learn Starlight (Transformation Ether) and MOMO's Kiss (Powerful Tech Attack). Like with Starwind, you should then approach the Ether Evolution screen and use 100 Epts to get Star Bell and Star Bunny. Star Bell and Star Bunny deal major damage to the enemy and MOMO's Kiss is quite possibly her powerful Tech Attack. However, Starlight too only allows you to be transformed for 2 turns again. Remember, Star Bell, Star Bunny, and MOMO's Kiss require you to be in Starlight transformation to work.
Both transformations can only be used once per battle and take up much space when you equip your Ethers so I suggest that you stick with one set instead of having them both. Remember everything has to be equipped before you can use it. Hope you enjoy MOMO's Power-ups!
