Relationships

In this section, MOMO's interactions with other characters are covered. For now, I've only covered interactions with the Battle Party, but more will come soon.

Shion Uzuki
Shion is a secondary maternal figure after Juli. Whenever MOMO needs to confide in someone, it's usually either Ziggy or Shion. While on the Elsa, Shion also seeps with MOMO, bridging a unique relationsip. When MOMO felt down in the Durandal Park, Shion was the one to cheer her up. MOMO's relationship with Shion is one of her strongest links.


KOS-MOS
MOMO feels rather empathetic with KOS-MOS most of the time. They're both bound by the fact that they aren't human and have similar issues, such as identity diffusion, due to this. They seem to help each other in times of need due to these similarities.

Ziggy
Since Joachim is no longer alive, MOMO considers Ziggy her main paternal figure ever since she was rescued by him in Episode I. I think MOMO's relationship with Ziggy is probably second only to her relationship with Jr. Like Shion, Ziggy is confided in by MOMO in almost any situation. His official relation with her is as her bodyguard, but there's definately more than that going on.


chaos
Out of her relationships between all main characters, I have to say her's with chaos is definately the weakest. They have a "nice" relationship, but honestly it's nothing special.



Jr.
MOMO's relationship with Jr. has to be the most complicated ever. Jr's appearance does not reflect his actual age (approximately 26 years old) while MOMO's does (about 12-14 years old). Many people do not approve of such a large age gap for a "love" relationship despite the fact that the makers dropped signs everywhere that they are a couple. Another issue is that before MOMO was born, Jr loved Sakura, the girl MOMO was modeled after. So would Jr love MOMO because she's MOMO or looks like Sakura? Another issue present is that Sakura asked Jr to look after MOMO, so Jr says he'll treat MOMO like a "real girl." So does he really love MOMO? Either way, MOMO often confides in Jr, and Jr protects MOMO.


Jin Uzuki
Jin's relationship with MOMO is rather weak, like chaos's is. However, they do have a great moment of interaction, so I believe it is a bit stronger than MOMO's relationship with chaos. In Labyrinthos in Episode II, Jin reveals that Joachim Mizrahi was not the madman everyone thought he was. He was in fact a scapegoat for the blame, and actually helped to save mankind by sealing the Original Zohar and Old Miltia. Other than that, MOMO and Jin rarely interact.
