Attire: School Girl MOMO MOMO in general is a reference to tons of Animes that aren't even related to Xenosaga. Part of this is the fact that MOMO's clothing is a sort of "school girl" style. However, let's divide this analysis into 3 major parts starting with part one:
Section 1
MOMO's head stays true to Anime style. Her pink hair is shoulder length and a bit longer in the front than the back. Ironically, the pink is almost the color of a cherry blossom. There is a strange section of pink hair sticking up randomly. Like a reference to Sailor Moon, MOMO has two hair ornaments that almost look like Serena's "meatballs". Her bangs come down to about to her pink eyebrows. Her eyes are a sort of soft yellow, like most other realians, and are just below the eyebrows. Some have commented that her eyes are too big and look like a chipmunk's but I think they're fine the way they are. Her chin is rather pointed rather than a normal rounded chin. Section 2 This section is where it starts particularly looking like "school girl". She wears a navy blue to black uniform-looking shirt that doubles as a mini-skirt. This shirt has long sleaves and a couple of emblem designs on it. It leads up to cover her neck a bit like a choker. A white mini-cloak is then attached by the red gem under her neck. It hangs off a bit in the back but is fully attached in the front. Section 3 MOMO's footware is in this section. It could possibly be a boot, but it looks more like an oversized sock with the way MOMO can run around in it. The bottom of each sock has a flexable, metal sole that I believe is used as a replacement for shoes. Near the ankles, she has an insignia that is orange and surrounded by silver. For quite a while, I thought that at the top of MOMO's left leg was a telescope for "observational" functions but it turns out to be an emblem. My guess is that it's the Mizrahi lab emblem. Her footware ends a bit below her skirt with a black under-sock. [Back]
